The Bombardier Challenger 600 series is a family of business jets manufactured by Canadair of Bombardier Aerospace. 1,600 Bombardier Challengers are in-service; the fleet has logged 7.3 million hours over 4.3 million flights. Introduced to the market in 1995, the Challenger 604 is a variant of the 600 series. It has completed over 4,000,000 hours of flight time with a dispatch reliability of over 99%.



Powered by General Electric CF34-3B engines with 8,729 pounds of thrust, the Challenger 604 can travel up to 4,024 nm operating under NBAA IFR with 4 passengers. It is designed with increased fuel capacity, updated undercarriage for a higher takeoff and landing weight, and Rockwell Collins PrecisionPlus avionics. The cabin has a volume of 1,150 cubic feet and seats up to nine passengers.

Production of the Challenger 604 ended in 2006, with a total of 365 jets being built. 363 of the aircraft remain in operation today, with 8.8% being for sale on the market. North America is the largest operator of the fleet with 64%, and Europe has 20%. An additional 10% is operated in Asia. A large amount of Challenger 604 aircraft is in service with government agencies, including the Royal Danish Air Force.
