Dear Jetsetters,

Traveling with your pet should not be a complicated or stressful event for you or your four-legged friend. This is why private jet charter is a great option to bring your pet or several pets with you to your destination. If you plan to travel with your furry friends, there are a couple things to note before booking a private jet for your next trip.

Almost all of the private jet operators allow pets on their aircrafts. However, you should check with your broker or operator if they have any additional charges. Some charge a flat fee in between 200 and 300 dollars and others may only request a cleaning fee of about the same amount only if your pet makes a mess.

Consider the size of your pet and duration of travel. If your flight is more than a couple of hours, we recommend that you book an aircraft that has a flat floor so that your pet can lay down and stretch out.

It’s a good idea to bring along your pet’s favorite snacks and a container for water. While the water will be on the aircraft, few have containers in place to accommodate our four-legged friends.

While there are no checkpoints or other obstacles with bringing your pet onboard when traveling in the United States, it is important to keep in mind that the pets shall comply with the local travel laws and guidelines.

This includes making sure that: - Your cat or dog must be at least 8 weeks old; - They must have their up-to-date rabies vaccinations; - Animals must also be weaned; For international travel we encourage you to consult with the country officials you are traveling to, since the regulations change frequently. Also, note that some countries still require kennels.

Last but not least, don’t hesitate to ask your crew for any assistance and accommodation. So, now that you know all of the basics of pet traveling on a private jet, go on and enjoy your time with your furry friend while aboard any of our jets. Don’t forget to watch next week’s episode where we will provide an update on this trend.

Dear Brokers, With fresh analysis provided by TapJets Sky Wizard, I am afraid that next week may be disappointing in terms of new bookings. We have seen a sharp request decline for the next 10 days. And the availability is starting to match or exceed in most of the airports.

The good news is that this looks like a short-lived phenomenon. And it is driven mostly by consumer buying patterns, Fractional Companies and Wheels Up pushing hard for new memberships in the last few weeks with some great incentives. The clients that are signing up are fulfilling their requests within these networks.

We suggest focusing on year-end client travel now to lock the aircrafts ahead of the peak blackout dates that are just around the corner. Make sure to subscribe and comment if you find this information useful. Our goal is to deliver just in time data to help you book more flights.

And now for our Operator Viewers. Dear Operators, the NBAA week just came to a close, and I hope you enjoyed the Future of Aviation sessions that are a small window into how the aviation is being delivered and how the industry is changing. If your fleet was anywhere near South Florida this Thursday or Friday, most likely you weren't able to move out. This is because the availability of planes flying out of South Florida currently exceeds the demand by 4:1. Now this is the first week, of what we at TapJets believe, will be a four to six weeks trend of aircrafts going to South Florida and not being able to score the next leg out. So, if you are a floating fleet think twice before parking your jet in South Florida at the end of the week. Next week we will be adding Bahamas to this list as there is teetering on the supply demand scale. Our goal is to share this knowledge so that you can optimize your routes and efficiency. If you find this information helpful, please subscribe! You will receive the updates when the next weekly episode comes out.

If you like to see additional analysis or data, please let us know in the comments on how we can help. Until next time. Please remember to fly safe.
