Embraer Celebrates a Stellar Start to 2024 with 67% Jump in Jet Deliveries
Embraer has delivered an impressive 25 jets in the first quarter of 2024, marking a 67% increase from the previous year and the strongest first-quarter performance in eight years. Executive Aviation led this growth, with deliveries increasing from eight to 18 jets, bolstered by robust demand across its entire product portfolio. This surge has raised the Executive Aviation backlog to $4.6 billion.
In Commercial Aviation, deliveries remained stable with seven aircraft, and the sector's backlog jumped by $2.3 billion to $21.1 billion. Meanwhile, the Defense & Security sector, highlighted by milestones like the successful maiden flight of the Hungarian Air Force's first C-390 Millennium, holds a backlog of $2.4 billion.
The Services & Support division continues to be a key growth driver, maintaining a steady backlog of $3.1 billion. Embraer is also advancing its Production Levelling plan to stabilize production rates throughout the year.
